August Phonics/Reading Tutoring

Tutor Wendy Yohman has 20 years experience teaching children to read with a sequential, systematic, explicit phonics approach. She is a Dyslexia Pracitioner certified through IMSLEC, and teaches part time at the Children's Dyslexia Center in New Castle, PA. Wendy will graduate from her level two Dyslexia Practitioner training in May 2025. She has experience working with children 18 months - 18 years old.

These tutoring sessions are individualized to your child's needs and are appropriate for beginning readers, advanced readers, and pre-readers who are looking to build up the  essential skills for reading.

Tutoring rate is $25 per half hour during the school year, but we are offering Pay What You Can Pricing during the month of August to get as many children ready for the school year as possible.

All current students are "grandfathered" in at their current pricing.
